A FIRST FOR BADO - TEAM 360 ROUND UP

Team360 were in action over the weekend on both the PDC Development Tour and JDC Foundation
Tour circuits, with plenty of success achieved over an excellent weekend of darts.

Jurjen Van der Velde continued his excellent form with a final and two quarter-final outings. After
reaching the last eight on the Friday afternoon, with handful of 90+ averages, he would go within a
leg of the title on Saturday. He whitewashed Bradley Brooks in the semi-finals, but would lose out in
a decider to Ireland’s Ciaran Teehan.

It would be a mixed weekend of results for South West star Keelan Kay. ‘The Lord of the Board’ has
been dominant locally recently, but ran into some stiff competition in Wigan. A top 32 finish his best
result of weekend after losing out to some incredible averages throughout the weekend.

JDC Foundation tour table topper, Riley Rees-Tucker would also be in action, finding it tough going
against tour card holder Danny Jansen on Friday. Saturday would bring two last 64 finishes, including
wins over Sean Cummins and fellow Welsh star, Keaton Williams.

Connor Hopkins would record three last 64 outings in Wigan after a promising start to the season.
His 93 average in event nine was a high for the weekend as he defeated Alfie Busby. After recent
success on the JDC advanced tour, Cayden Smith would convert that experience to Development
Tour wins. He defeated Jack Boardman and Alan Halfmouw on the opening day to reach the last 64.

There were also some strong performances from Ireland’s Adam Dee, who defeated Bradley Brooks
and Cayden Smith in the opening tournament of the weekend. Dee would later run into Luke Littler,
among others, but can be happy with his weekends work.

Away from the Development Tour, Nico Bado was in terrific form on the JDC Foundation Tour. He
collected his first JDC title in Coventry on Saturday, defeating Jack Nankervis in the final. The
Gibraltarian needed a last leg decider to see off Steven Ivey, but rampaged through the following
three round dropping just one leg.

He then put the finishing touches to a fantastic display, by defeating Nankervis, who won the
weekend’s three other events. The weekend also saw Hannah Meek gain some traction of the JDC
tour, picking up wins in both Saturday and Sunday’s events.
