Rileys Sports Bars teams up with the PDC again to host the 2018 amateur qualifiers for the UK Open.
Once again 17 sites will hold at least one qualifying event with the winner going to Butlins Minehead for the finals weekend on 2nd - 4th March.
Qualifying events in Riley’s Wolverhampton and Riley’s Victoria will have 2 people qualify from each of their events. 1 lucky amateur will qualify at all other events.
Qualifying events will run over 5 consecutive weekends starting 20th January and running up to 18th February.
Saturday 20th January - Greenock Q1
Sunday 21st January - Victoria Q2 - 2 Players qualify
Saturday 27th January - Chorlton Q1, Norwich Q1, Nottingham Q1, Twickenham Q1, Wolverhampton Q1 - 2 Player qualify.
Sunday 28th January - Leicester, Liverpool Q1, South Benfleet Q1
Saturday 3rd February - Chester Q1, Harlow, Sheffield, Worcester
Sunday 4th February - Chester Q2, Coventry Q1, Greenock Q2, Solihull
Saturday 10th February - Chorlton Q2,
Sunday 11th February - Twickenham Q2
Saturday 17th February - Aberdeen, Coventry Q2, Liverpool Q2, Norwich Q2, Nottingham Q2
Sunday 18th February - Victoria Q2 - 2 players qualify, South Benfleet Q2, Wolverhampton Q2 - 2 players qualify
Entry to a qualifier is just £7 and includes a free selected drink or £3.50 bar voucher in Scotland. Players can register through the Rileys website at: rileys.co.uk/events
Amateurs will be playing best of 7 legs, 501 straight start, with the final best of 9 legs. Players must be 16 or over on 1st January 2018, there is also a strict dress code for the qualifiers, more information can be found on our website www.rileys.co.uk.
