ANOTHER SOLID WEEKEND FOR THE ELITE TEAM 360

ANOTHER SOLID WEEKEND FOR THE ELITE TEAM 360

24 April, 2023

Team360 were in action once again this weekend as we saw the second weekend of JDC Advanced Tour action, and a busy weekend of British Internationals for some of our players.

Cayden Smith opened the weekend in impressive fashion, reaching the semis and quarter-finals on the JDC Advanced Tour. Smith had recorded a 90 average locally in preparation for the events, and his practice paid off as he reached the final four in event one. He would back it up with a last eight finish on day two, leaving him inside the top 20 on the order of merit.

There would also be a semi-final showing for Ryan Branley in the JDC system. He defeated Keaton Williams 4-2 in the quarter-finals of event five before running into a rampant Luke Littler.

Elsewhere, there was British International success for a number of our team, including a strong Welsh contingent. Riley Rees-Tucker and Connor Hopkins were part of the Welsh team that defeated Scotland 3-1 to claim second in the boys' team event.

Hannah Meek was crowned champion in the girls' team event, backing up an impressive semi-final showing at an ADC Vault in Coventry.

Gibraltar’s Nico Bado also recorded an incredible 112.73 average in his local league. The youngster also went seven darts into the perfect leg as he ran out a 3-0 winner.

Finally, Keelan Kay was a winner in local competition at Bar501 on Wednesday, recording an 86 average in the final. The Plymouth thrower would make another final the following night, missing match darts to make it two from two, but once again a positive week for ‘The Lord of the Board’.
