Back-to-Back Victories Moves Gurney into Play-off Position

Daryl Gurney moved up to fourth in the 2019 Unibet Premier League table after an impressive 7-3 win over Mensur Suljovic.

Superchin smashed in six maximums on the way to the victory which now sees him sitting in the last Play-off position in the Premier League.

The night will be remembered as Raymond van Barneveld’s swansong in the Premier League and the Dutchman announced his immedite retirement after the game during an emotional evening.

Barney was defeated 7-1 by his countryman Michael van Gerwen, after having is elimination from the Premier League group stage confirmed on Wednesday night.

Elsewhere, James Wade picked up a 7-4 win over Michael Smith to solidify his third place in the league table. Welshman Gerwyn Price earned his third win of the season when he defeated Peter Wright 7-5 and Rob Cross defeated the final contender of the season, Jeffrey de Zwaan, 7-4.
