Before we get the action from our Team360 stars, first we have to welcome a quartet of new names to the stable. Drake Porter and Jack Johnson step up from the JDC Cadets with Jack Peet and Joe Flenley also joining the team after impressing in JDC competition.
Young Aidan O’Hara was back in Irish Masters competition last week as he reached the semi-finals on the singles event. ‘The Onion’ also reached the final four of the men’s pairs event showcasing his skills in senior competition.
That wasn’t the only success for Ireland as Rebecca Allen claimed glory in the JDC Academy Nations Cup in the girl’s singles. Allen has previously narrowly defeated Hannah Meek in the final four following an impressive display from both, before she blew away her opponent in the final.
Allen also reached the semi-finals of the girl’s pairs, with Jack Nankervis claiming the boy’s pairs title in Coventry for England. Infact Nankervis would make it a double scoop as England claimed the overall five nations title, a team that contained Hannah Meek after her final appearances in the girl’s singles.
Fabian Tapner would also put in some strong performances for Wales, completing the event in fourth place on the averages chart. Riley Rees-Tucker was also highly placed on the averages chart for his super league season, finishing with a 75 season average.
