Winmau today announced its partnership with the newly formed Northern Ireland Disability Darts Association (NIDDA).
The sponsorship will see the global darts brand provide support and equipment to the NIDDA as it continues to further the development of disability darts in Northern Ireland.
Winmau Sales and Marketing Director, Ian Flack, said: “Northern Ireland has been a hot-bed for darting talent over the years and we’re proud to assist in providing a platform for disability darts players in the country to shine.”
“Having worked closely with the Northern Ireland Darts Organisation in recent times and seeing the standard of darts being played, there’s no doubt the NIDDA can mirror this success.”
Tommy Dillon, NIDDA Co-ordinator, said: “Having Winmau on board to offer their expertise and support is fantastic for disability darts. They’ve furthered the game of darts for so many disability players all over the globe and we’re excited about our future partnership together.”
“We have a superb set-up at the Nortel Club, Monkstown to cater to our needs and can’t wait to get underway with upcoming tournaments throughout the year”
