Winmau and World ParaDarts are proud to announce the details for the inaugural World ParaDarts Winmau World Trophy that is set to take place from 26th-28th November 2021.
G-Darts Belgium are the hosts of this exciting disability darts tournament at the Vayamundo Oostende, Belgium, and the event is open to all national disability darts organisations across the World.
Countries will enter teams of four - two standing and two wheelchair players – who will participate in the main event being the team competition for the World Trophy, there will also be a range of playing formats for singles, and pairs.
All the action will be played on the class-leading Blade dartboard in what will be yet another step forward for the sport of disability darts.
Sarah Smale, Chairperson of World ParaDarts, said: “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we’ve had to innovate and we’ve staged online tournaments as well as international friendlies, which have been amazingly successful and ensure that our members continue to participate and promote disability darts around the World.
“We’re now proud to announce the details for the World ParaDarts Winmau World Trophy, which will no doubt bring all disability players from their countries back together and continue the growth of the sport via the addition of this major tournament.”
