Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, have extended their support of the Serbian Darts Federation (SDF) and Serbia’s number one player Oliver Ferenc.
The SDF has grown at a phenomenal rate and now boasts 2 leagues with more players and teams taking up the sport every month. The SDF will continue to use the Blade 4 dartboard at all their events.
Vladimir Injac, President of the SDF, said: “We are proud of the great strides we have made over the past few years and we have to thank Winmau for all their help and support to make this possible. The players all relish playing with the finest darts equipment in the world and there really is no better board than the Blade 4! With Winmau’s continued commitment, we know we can add more tournaments, players and prestige to our system in the future.”
Oliver Ferenc is Serbia’s brightest darts star, and he has enjoyed the support of Winmau for the past year. Oliver said: “Being a part of a global darts giant like Winmau really is a dream come true for me. They have been incredibly supportive over the past year, and it has undoubtedly helped my game. It was an easy decision to resign with them.”
Ian Flack, Sales and Marketing Director of Winmau, added: “We are delighted to continue our fantastic relationship with the SDF. They offer something new and help reinforce our goal to grow darts around the world. They are one of the most dynamic federations we have ever worked with, and we hope to see the growth in Serbian darts continue and see countless 180’s on the trebles of the Blade 4’s! Oliver Ferenc has been a great asset to us. He is a supremely talented player and offers so much off the oche as well. We are truly delighted to have such good friends in Serbia!”
