A professional dartboard has a diameter of 18 inches (45.7 cm) and is divided into 20 numbered segments. This is the standard size used in professional tournaments and competitive league play around the world.

According to official darts regulations, the centre of the bullseye should be 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m) from the floor, and the throwing distance (oche) should be 7 feet 9¼ inches (2.37 m) from the face of the dartboard. These measurements ensure consistent playing conditions.
