Bobby “The King of Bling” George has announced a new sponsorship deal with Winmau, which extends their relationship for a further 3 years.
Bobby is twice a Lakeside (Embassy) World Championship finalist and he is a World Darts Federation Europe Cup Winner, but his greatest achievement was winning the News of the World Championship in 1979. This was one of the hardest tournaments to win and Bobby did it in typical style - he is the only player to have won this title without dropping a single leg. He won the News of the World for the second time in 1986, and Bobby has proudly represented his country 26 times.
Bobby said "Darts is my life and Winmau have always been there during that time. They are the best in the business as we share the same love for the sport. I just wish I was 30 again so I could go and beat all these youngsters with my new Winmau darts!!"
