Next year^s Winmau BDO ranking event will attract the UK^s top darts professionals, along with West Midlands amateurs hoping to win prize money.  It will be staged over two days on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July.

WICS Manager, Dharam Jagpal, commented:  "This will be our most prestigious darts event to date and we^re hoping to bring forward our plans for the new Winmau Darts Centre, currently being designed as part of a major update of the whole WICS complex".

Ian Flack, Winmau’s Sales and Marketing Director, added: "The award of BDO ranking points for the WICS is just reward for the amazing opportunities that Dharam and the team have provided for players, not just in the local area, but nationwide. This year was the 4th Winmau BDO Wolverhampton Open, and this event has grown in stature and has now qualified for BDO ranking points. The details for the 2017 edition of this tournament will be released shortly, but it includes a new identity and the addition of an extra day in an exciting modernisation of a well-established tournament!”
