Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, are delighted to announce their partnership with one of Poland’s leading darts associations the Małopolska Stowarzyszenie Darta (MSD).
The MSD was established 18 months ago and, in such a short space of time, has grown from being a small darts organisation with a few tournaments, to a well-known darts organisation in Małopolska and Poland as a whole. Starting with just a few tournaments, the MSD has developed and established a new steeltip dart league, summer leagues and major ranking tournaments.
Bastin Jeltema, Vice President of the MSD, said: “With the fantastic support provided by Winmau we will be able to improve as an organisation in Poland but also internationally over the coming years. New tournaments will be established in order to attract new players from all regions to help grow the sport and to give them the opportunity to play on the best equipment available. We are proud and honoured to be partnering with Winmau and we hope for a long and successful relationship with them”.
Ian Flack, Sales and Marketing Director of Winmau, added: “Winmau has been a big supporter of Polish darts for many years now. We have a great partnership with the Polish Darts Organisation and we sponsor 2 of their top players – Krzysztof Strozyk and Jolanta Rzepka. We were very impressed with the great work the MSD has achieved in such a quick time frame and we are only too happy to be supporting them to help grow their membership base and to assist via our global database. We have no doubt that, with their professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication, the MSD can only continue to grow at pace.”
