On May the 2nd and 3rd 2015 the Danish Darts Organisation will host the annual Denmark Open and Denmark Masters supported by Winmau - an international event that attracts all the top players from across Europe. This year it’s not only a darts tournament, as the Danish Darts Organisation is in partnership with Sport and Event Park Esbjerg to create a unique party atmosphere!
Sport and Event Park Esbjerg offers discount schemes on wellness, fitness, cinema trips, mountain bike rentals, harbour tours, etc. Throughout the weekend^s matches, there will be a great party atmosphere in the area around the tournament with live music and various "themed bars".
When the decisive matches start, the tournament will move into the party area where the atmospheric crowd will follow the biggest darts show in Denmark ever. With music and lights, the players will be guided to the stage where they will entertain the crowd with the highest standard of play.
Last year the event was upgraded to Category B on the BDO^s event calendar, but in 2015, the Danish Darts Organisation have made the Denmark Open a Category A tournament for both the Men’s and Ladies events. This puts it on a par with prestigious events such as the British Open, Belgium Open and Swedish Open . The Denmark Masters will continue as a Category B event.
In mid-March, the Danish Darts Organisation will publish the final tournament invitation with information for registration, but there is good reason to book the weekend of May the 2nd and 3rd 2015 now to experience a whole new era of darts events in Esbjerg!

• There is more than 24,000 euros in prize money
• It is held centrally in Esbjerg and will take place at Granly Hockey Arena and Bluewater Dokken
