Mervyn King Darts Collection

Mervyn King has enjoyed one of the longest and most decorated careers in modern darts, earning his place among the sport’s most enduring names. Known affectionately as “The King”, the Norfolk thrower reached a career-high World No.4 ranking and has competed at the highest level across both the BDO and PDC. His honours include the 2004 World Masters, the 2005 International Darts League and three further major titles, while he also reached the BDO World Championship final twice before making the switch to the PDC in 2007.

King continued to prove his pedigree on the PDC circuit, reaching the World Championship semi-finals in 2009 and contesting major finals at the Premier League, World Grand Prix, Players Championship Finals and The Masters. After losing his PDC Tour Card in 2024, “The King” showed his trademark resilience by returning to Q School in 2026 and successfully regaining his place on the professional circuit at the age of 59. His return marks another chapter in a remarkable career spanning more than three decades, with King once again competing alongside the game’s elite.
