The semi-finals for the BoyleSports World Grand Prix are set to get underway tonight after a superb night in Dublin.
The shining star of last night was arguably the fantastic contest between World no.1 Michael van Gerwen and Mervyn King, a repeat of the 2012 final.
Both men rattled in 170 finishes and some power scoring, with King pushing MvG to produce his top game to win 3-1.
Elsewhere, Chris Dobey continued his maiden run at the World Grand Prix with a 3-2 win over Ian White, setting up a showdown with World No.1 MvG.
On the other half of the bracket, a rejuvenated Dave Chisnall progressed into the semis with a strong 3-1 win over UK Open Champion Nathan Aspinall.
The final match of the evening saw a real humdinger between BDO World Champion Glen Durrant and Jermaine Wattimena. The Dutch prospect pushed Duzza all the way, with Glen taking a narrow 3-2 decider win.
You can catch tonight’s action at the CityWest, Dublin from 19:00 BST on Sky Sports and via the PDC’s broadcasting partners Worldwide.
