Stephen Bunting was up against it as Wilson was in fine form hitting 121, 122, 123 and 124 checkouts.
In a best of 9 sets match Wilson won 5-1 only losing the second set to the former 2012 Zuiderduin Masters champion. Wilson was emotional during the presentations as he claimed his first major title after recently missing out against Bunting in the Winmau World Masters.
Robbie Green won the cheque for the highest check out, 160.
Aileen de Graaf at last won the Zuiderduin Masters ladies title after making her debut in 2011, she lost that year in the final also in 2012 against this years opponent Anastasia Dobromyslova. But this time it ended with a win for Aileen without losing a set 2-0.
The Zuiderduin Masters Youth title was claimed by Colin Roelofs who won in two sets against Berry van Peer also from the Netherlands. Berry was very close to a setpoint in the first set but unfortunately lost in the 5th and deciding leg of this set.
