Team 360 Roundup - W/E 17th September 2023

It was a busy week for Cayden Smith on the Amateur Darts Circuit, he reached the quarter-finals in Halesowen, before going a couple of steps further on Thursday. After averaging just shy of 85 in his quarter-final win over Martyn Harper, he would whitewash Gavin Smith to set up a final meeting with Reece Colley.

Despite averaging five points higher than his opponent, Colley would snatch the victory in spite of a strong performance from Smith. He would add a further semi-final to his ever-growing reputation over the weekend, defeating former World Finalist, Andy Hamilton, en route.

It was also a strong week for Ryan Branley as he made the last 32 of the British Open. A 92 average sent Jamie Durrant packing in the last 128 before he squeezed past Simon Tate. He would then meet local rival Dave Prins in the last 32, losing out 4-1 despite a competent performance.

Adam Dee followed up his strong performances on the INDO circuit with a quarter-final in an ADC Vault. The Irishman also made the final four of the annual double in double out tournament as he prepares for the WDF World Cup next week. Another name on his way to Copenhagen will be Gibraltar’s Nico Bado as he represents his country’s senior side as just 16-years-of-age.

Hannah Meek was also in excellent form in Bridlington as she made the final of the Girl’s Youth tournament. Whitewash wins over Lauren Stokoe and Kacie O’Connor put her in the final, where she would lose to out to Scotland’s Sophie McKinlay. She would also put in a strong performance in the mixed youth event, emerging from her group with three wins for four.
