Winmau, the world’s leading darts brand, in partnership with the World Disability Darts Association (WDDA) and British Disability Darts Association (BDDA) are excited to announce the BDDA “Road to the Winmau Tour” for 2017.
There will be at least 16 players at the Winmau WDDA World Masters Championships 2017.
A minimum of 8 players from the BDDA will be selected from ranking points gained on the BDDA “Road to the Winmau Tour”. These tournaments are being organised by the BDDA and the confirmed events are as follows:
11th and 12th March 2017: The BDDA Winmau Classic 2017 at Weoley Castle Working Men’s Club, Birmingham
12th May 2017 (with finals to be played on the 14th May): The Welsh Open at Pontins, Prestatyn, North Wales
11th June 2017: Tournament details and venue to be released at a later date
15th July 2017: The Winmau BDO Wolverhampton Open at the Wolverhampton Indoor Community Sports Centre, Racecourse Rd, Wolverhampton WV6 0QU
29th to 30th July 2017: The Shownights.com Winmau European Darts Open (venue to be advised)
22nd to 24th September 2017: BDO British Open at The Spa, South Marine Drive, East Riding, Bridlington, YO15 3JH

We invite Organisations/Federations from the rest of the world who are running WDDA tournaments to contact us at sarah.smale@btopenworld.com to apply for places at the Winmau WDDA World Masters Championships 2017, with the details of the tournaments they are running and the ranking system they are intending to use.
Once we have heard from our international partners and the venue has been confirmed for the Winmau World Masters Championships in 2017 we will be able to confirm the final numbers that can qualify and how they will be distributed.
These are exciting times for the WDDA, BDDA, Winmau and the BDO, and we can’t wait to welcome all the players on their quest to reach the 2017 Winmau World Masters!
