Pioneering the way for Kenyan darts with his remarkable achievements on the international stage, Peter Wachiuri has significantly elevated the sport's profile of darts in Africa. His passion for darts quickly developed when he discovered the sport at a local club in Ngong, Kajiado, after a football injury led him to pursue an alternative sport.Having competed in national tournaments organised by the Kenya Darts Association (KDA), his impressive performance and passion for the sport have earned him recognition on a regional scale. Wachiuri's unconventional and bold playing styles make him a fan favourite, and his journey from a local player to an international competitor made headlines worldwide.September 2024 saw Wachiuri make headlines by finishing second in the African Qualifier for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Championship. This performance led to an invitation to the Modus Super Series, and in February 2025, he became the first African player to reach a weekly final. With the odds stacked against him at 33/1, Wachiuri ultimately finished second in the final to Scott Campbell.From humble beginnings to a trailblazing African star, Peter Wachiuri is set to inspire and pave the way for future talent in the sport and is certainly one to watch out for.

Rashad Sweeting made history as the first Bahamian to compete in the PDC World Darts Championship. 'The Candyman, ' known for his charismatic personality and unique stage presence, has made significant strides in representing his country on the International stage. With his infectious enthusiasm and stage presence, Sweeting became one of the most exciting new figures in professional darts, having represented the Bahamas at the 2023 WDF World Cup and his performance on the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship.Sweeting's journey from Nassau to the global stage exemplifies his passion and potential to become a regular competitor on the PDC circuit and paves the way for inspiration for future talents from the Bahamas.

Rebecca Allen

Rebecca Allen

From her first throws at the Carlow Youth Academy to the world stage, Rebecca Allen is proof of what hard work and passion can achieve. Inspired by her Mum and Brother, she quickly fell in love with the sport and has since topped national rankings, winning titles like the Irish Open, Irish Classic, and JDC JPL Girls Championship. 2023 proved a big year for Rebecca having became a finalist at the 2023 WDF World Cup, joining the ranks of Winmau’s Team 360 and also appearing on stage at the World Matchplay in Blackpool as a finalist for the JDC Girls Series.  Rebecca stated that " Joining Team360 means a lot to me because it shows that there’s people out there who are believing in me and believe that I’ll get far in the game." Rebecca credits mentors like Jamie Cooper of the JDC and Robyn Byrne for motivating her to keep improving, and dreams of one day playing on the biggest stages in the PDC for JDC finals. When asked about her long-term dreams, Rebecca said, "My ultimate goal is to do well in the PDC Women’s Series, play the World Matchplay and World Championship. I think if my darts stay going the way they are and I put in that extra bit of practice, I can see myself in a few years making those dreams come true." One thing that is for certain is Rebecca is a calm, focused competitor with a fierce finishing game and a big future ahead.

Henze’s journey into darts began 14 years ago when a friend asked him to join a darts league. Starting with a modest 16 points per dart (ppd), Rick’s competitive spirit kicked in, leading to invest time and effort in honing skills. Over a Christmas break, Rick dedicated himself to practice, raising his average to 24 ppd. This process involved extensive hours of learning and practicing, with a focus on refining my throw for consistent performance.As the years passed, Rick’s averages improved, gaining the confidence to assist others in enhancing their game. After finding himself in a league-playing rut, Henze decided to challenge himself by traveling to different cities and states. The experience of meeting new people and facing diverse strategies fuelled his passion for the game. Now, Rick travels extensively, revelling in the high level of competition that pushes him to continually elevate his game.

Ryan Branley

Rising star Ryan Branley reflects remarkable talent, and his rapid rise through the ranks has made waves in the sport of darts. He pursued a passion for darts at the age of five, and his dedication saw him quickly progress. By the age of nine, Branley had represented Durham and then later Tyne & Wear at a competitive level. In 2023, he cemented his reputation as one of the brightest young prospects in darts, winning multiple youth titles that year.At just 16 years of age, Branley made history by becoming the youngest player to compete in the Modus Super Series. He made a spectacular debut with a 104.53 average and a 114 checkout, winning four out of five matches on his first day.With his clinical finishing, high-scoring power, and calm mentality under pressure, Branley has gained recognition as one of the most promising young players in darts.
