Willie O'Connor

William ' Willie' O'Connor started competing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events in 2009, two short years after he secured his PDC Tour Card. Over time, 'The Magpie' has made a significant impact within the darts community, obtaining his first PDC title in 2019, when he won the Players Championship 13 and additionally showcased a stunning 115.10 average, beating Rob Cross 4-1 at the 2019 World Cup of Darts. More recently, O'Connor has further solidified his status among the top players when he reached the semi-finals of the 2022 UK Open.Over the years, Willie O'Connor has established himself as one of Ireland's top darts talents. With his passion for the sport, determination, and ongoing achievements, he has significantly contributed to the prominence of Irish darts on the global stage.
