Irlande

From her first throws at the Carlow Youth Academy to the world stage, Rebecca Allen is proof of what hard work and passion can achieve. Inspired by her Mum and Brother, she quickly fell in love with the sport and has since topped national rankings, winning titles like the Irish Open, Irish Classic, and JDC JPL Girls Championship. 2023 proved a big year for Rebecca having became a finalist at the 2023 WDF World Cup, joining the ranks of Winmau’s Team 360 and also appearing on stage at the World Matchplay in Blackpool as a finalist for the JDC Girls Series.

Rebecca stated that " Joining Team360 means a lot to me because it shows that there’s people out there who are believing in me and believe that I’ll get far in the game." Rebecca credits mentors like Jamie Cooper of the JDC and Robyn Byrne for motivating her to keep improving, and dreams of one day playing on the biggest stages in the PDC for JDC finals.

When asked about her long-term dreams, Rebecca said, "My ultimate goal is to do well in the PDC Women’s Series, play the World Matchplay and World Championship. I think if my darts stay going the way they are and I put in that extra bit of practice, I can see myself in a few years making those dreams come true."

One thing that is for certain is Rebecca is a calm, focused competitor with a fierce finishing game and a big future ahead.
