The Coral UK Open will see an increased prize fund in 2019 to £450,000 in addition to a change in format.
The field of players will now be expanded to 160 players and see all 128 tour-card holders invited straight into the event.
There will still be 16 Rileys Amateur Qualifiers for the tournament and 16 qualifiers will be selected from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
These changes will see the removal of the six UK Open Qualifiers on the ProTour, which will be replaced by an additional two Players Championship weekends.
The prize fund has a huge increase £100,000 increase, including the winner^s cheque seeing a £30,000 on the £70,000 for the 2018 event.
The tournament will be once again staged at the Butlin^s Minehead Resort from 1st - 3rd March across eight stages, whilst the quarter-final stage onwards will be played out on the main stage.
