Superleague was the order of the day for Cori Wiltshire and Connor Hopkins who both recorded convincing victories. Bristol based Wiltshire added an 87 average to his armoury in a 4-0 win whilst Hopkins also averaged in the mid 80’s.
Aidan O’Hara took a short break from time on the board as he was greeted by the town's mayor in a rare honour given to those with such great achievements. O’Hara was crowned a WDF Europe Cup champion back in July and received his honour last week in Tipperary.
Jack Nankervis continued his excellent form on the board by claiming the England Darts Grand Prix final with a stunning final performance. Two ton plus checkouts contributed to a 91 final average as he picked up yet another prestigious title.
Hannah Meek was back in action on the PDC Women’s Series and claimed a major scalp along the way. After losing out to Aileen De Graaf in the opening event, Meek defeated Jo Andrews and followed her win up with another over former world finalist Lorraine Winstanley. Whilst her run came an end against former Women’s Series finalist Vicky Pruim, it was another confidence building weekend for Meek on the PDC stage.
