Premier League Night Six: Clayton Controls Nottingham

A night built on control, timing and clinical finishing. Jonny Clayton strengthened his position at the top of the 2026 BetMGM Premier League table with a composed Night Six victory in Nottingham.
The Welshman continued his strong return to the competition with three measured performances at the Motorpoint Arena, defeating Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries to secure his second nightly title of the season and the £10,000 bonus.
Clayton opened his evening against seven-time champion Van Gerwen.
After a tight opening phase, the Welshman produced a decisive run of legs to seal a 6–3 victory, maintaining his unbeaten record in quarter-finals this season.
He carried that control into the semi-finals.
Facing Stephen Bunting, Clayton delivered another efficient display, converting 55% of his attempts at double to close out a 6–3 win and book his place in the final.

Clayton continued his progress with another composed performance in the semi-finals.
Heavy scoring combined with efficient finishing allowed him to dictate the pace against Bunting, securing a 6–3 victory to reach his second nightly final of the campaign.

The Final
Jonny Clayton 6–1 Luke Humphries
