The JDC Foundation Tour concluded over the weekend, with Jack Nankervis confirming his place at
the summit of the order of merit and claiming his tour card for the Advanced Tour in 2024.

Joining him on the Advanced Tour next season will be Shoey Ayers, Jack Johnson and Gibraltarian
starlet Nico Bado, as well as Mason Teese who claimed his through the events in the Netherlands.
12-year-old Nankervis was victorious in six of the 20 events over the season, adding two to his total
over the weekend in Coventry. He cruised through the early rounds in event 17 before needing a
deciding leg to defeat Jack Peet. He would defeat Sean McKeon in the semi-finals before seeing off
familiar adversary Mason Teese in the final.

He would round off the season in spectacular fashion by winning event 20. He averaged 87 in
defeating Harrison Leigh early on, and would go one better in the semi-finals, defeating Kian Poyner
with an average just short of 90. Irishman McKeon would await in the final, but Nankervis would run
away with a 5-0 win, and will make the full step up to the advanced tour next season.
The weekend also saw wins for Charlie Stocks and Lewis Mayes. The latter would come through
tough ties with McKeon and Blake Walker to take his place in the semi-finals. He would up his
average to beyond 76 as he held his nerve to see off Stocks in a decider before putting the finishing
touches to an excellent display by defeating Owen Rhead in the final.

Stocks would put the gloss on an excellent season by defeating tour winner Nankervis en route to
the tour 19 title. The whitewash defeat of Nankervis was followed by a 4-2 win over Sean McKeon,
and the standard would be maintained to defeat Shoey Ayers in a one sided final.

Five of this year’s finest young dartists will now join the advanced tour ranks in 2024, looking to
progress their game further within the JDC system. Nankervis joins Evan Willoughby and Pim Van
Bijnen as Foundation Tour champions and will be looking to continue to do damage when he steps
up next year.
