STEPHEN BUNTING, the 2012 Mariflex runner-up went one better this year by being crowned 2013 Mariflex Open Men^s Singles Champion in an exciting final against Belgium^s Geert de Vos.
On his way to the final, Geert had enjoyed wins against top players like Martin Atkins and Ross Montgomery, but the in-form Stephen Bunting fresh from his triumph in the Isle-of-Man Open ended his dreams.
Stephen lost the first leg of the first set, but from then on played supreme darts to take the title.
In an all-England Ladies Singles final, DETA HEDMAN also continued her top form by winning the title for the second time in a hard fought final against Rachel Brooks.
England^s Casey Galagher is the Mariflex Open Girls Champion and Coline Roelofs won the Boys title and with it an invitation to compete in the 2013 Zuiderduin Masters Youth tournament.
Robbie Green and Deta Hedman won the Mixed Pairs title with a 5-3 win over Gary Robson and Kirsi Viikainen , and it was Deta again, with the impressive Fallon Sherrock who won the Ladies Pairs title in a tough final against Lorraine Farlam and Anastasia Dobromyslova.
The Men^s Pairs title was won by the Dutch pair of Wesley Harms and Jeffrey de Graaf, who beat England^s Tony Eccles and Glen Durrant .
