It was a week of rest for many of Team360’s young stars after a hectic few days in Gibraltar with the JDC World Championships, but for some they couldn’t stay away from the board and were straight back to hammering the treble 20 as preparations began for 2025.
Aidan O’Hara claimed glory at the Dublin Open, after bowing out of the main event in round one, the young Irishman went all the way in the shield event. ‘The Onion’ consistently averaged over the 70 mark throughout the day, dropping just a single leg en route to the title.
Riley Rees-Tucker continues to become a force at the ADC Vault’s in South Wales as he took another title at the Swansea event last week. He squeezed past Craig Allen in the quarter-final stages before a much more comfortable win over Gareth Davies to reach the final. Rees-Tucker then held his nerve against Cellen Jones to take the ADC title in a deciding leg.
Jack Nankervis’ Winter league campaign got underway with a 93.94 average as he looks to continue the momentum from Gibraltar. There were also local wins for the aforementioned Rees-Tucker and an ADC final for Jayden Jones in his local Vault event.
9-year-old Kai Tiffen will be making the headlines once again, as he defeated former World Matchplay and PC Finals champion Nathan Aspinall in an exhibition! The young star averages 70 in defeating Premier League star Aspinall, an occasion and win that he will never forget!
