Mark Webster and Darryl Fitton admit they are both relishing the prospect of playing the DARTSLIVE Softip Stage 3 in France this weekend, alongside Europe’s star Softip players.
The World stars in the Steeltip side of the game are both embracing the rapidly growing softip side, that is dominated by the Asian, American and European countries.
World Champion Mark Webster said "The guys at Winmau asked me if I was interested in playing some softip events, so I took a look at the game and the extra dimension of strategy needed to play the game really excited. When I played in Hong Kong 3 months ago I had a great time, as the softip players and game add some great energy and electricity, and I still have so much to learn".
Darryl Fitton the Salford Star said "I^ve heard so much hype around the growth of softip darts across Asia so I thought that it would be great to have a go, it^s going to be an intense couple of days as it’s like starting out on tour all over again, and qualification for the end of season major finals in Hong Kong is essentially what we^re playing for"
DARTSLIVE has several qualifying events in several countries where the top 64 ranked players gain entry to The World Finals in Hong Kong and play for 1 million Hong Kong Dollars top prize.
With so many talented softip players across Asia and Europe the UK Steeltip converts will have their work cut out, but all have said what a great feeling it is to be playing in these new events.
The DARTSLIVE Stage 3 is being screened on DARTSLIVE and Winmau TV and you can follow all the action here: http://www.winmau.com/sec/1391/WINMAU_TV/
