With the truncated opportunity for live, competitive darts during 2021 Modern Amateur Darts have amended the qualification structure for this year’s Winmau European Amateur Open.
The £30,000 Prize pot, which we believe to be the biggest for a single Amateur Open Event, and carrying a Champions purse of a ground-breaking £10,000, will be available to any MAD Member outside the PDC’s 128 Tour card holders.
As well as being crowned the very first Winmau European Open Amateur Champion and pocketing £10k, the winner will automatically be entered into the fascinating ‘MAD Golden Gauntlet’. This special ‘Royal Rumble’ style event will also see £10,000 awarded to the ‘Last Man Standing’
Both events are part of MAD’s Big Weekend (with a £50,000 Prize Fund) staged at Bunn Leisure in Selsey, West Sussex.
