Winmau’s Krzysztof Stróżyk Wins the Polish Grand Prix

Winmau player Krzysztof Stróżyk (Poznań) triumphed in the thrilling men^s tournament final against Tomasz Mikołajczyk in the eleventh polish Grand Prix POD on 22-23 June 2013 in Koszalin. Third place went to Szymon Dejnega and Krzysztof Chmielewski.

The ladies competition was won by Joanna Kubowicz (Warsaw), who beat Joanna Janiec in the final. Katarzyna Kuźmin and Ewa Żabka were the losing semi-finalists.

The Koszalin Championship was not only the darts event over the weekend. There was also an annual charity auction (including signed darts of Winmau^s Mervyn King), which aims to help those in need. This year, the players, their friends and family and sponsors have raised almost 2000 euros for little Grześ Królak (2 years old), who suffers from TAR syndrome. The Polish Darts Organisation supported this great cause by contributing 500 euros. Thank you to everyone who donated!
