The three-time and reigning Canadian National Ladies Champion fulfils a life-long ambition today as she commences her bid to become Lakeside World Champion. She is also a record-breaker as the first Canadian ladies player to grace the famous Lakeside stage.
Maria said: "I actually think I^m dreaming at the minute! Not only have I qualified for Lakeside for the first time and am the first ladies player to have done so from Canada, but I have also been recognised by the biggest brand in the world of darts - Winmau! I just love everything about the sport of darts and it^s a true passion of mine. This is one thing that attracted me to Winmau - they are clearly very passionate about the sport at all levels and I am very proud to be representing them on the circuit."
