Shane Havard took the final BDDA Road to Winmau Tour ranking title over the weekend, defeating Paul Gelder in the final of the Dartford Open.
In a scintillating performance, Havard didn’t drop a single leg in the tournament as he defeated Del Meakins, Ricky Snedden, Phil Lees, Paul Hampton and Paul Gelder all by a 3-0 score-line. Shane also took home the highest outshot of the tournament, hitting a 170 outshot.
The win see’s Shane cement his place at the WDDA Winmau World Championships, finishing second behind Jonathan Hirst. Hirst picked up 24pts to his rankings with a run to the quarter-finals, ensuring he kept ahead of Havard.
Michael Callaghan and Paul Hampton both ensured their spots at the WDDA Winmau World Championships after semi-final runs.
