Lisa Ashton retained her BDO World Masters crown over the weekend and John O'shea became the first Irishman to win the Mens World Masters after 3 days of action at the Circus Tavern.
John "The Joker" O'Shea defeated Winmau's Scott Waites in the final 6-4 to take the honour. In the Ladies, Lisa Ashton battled back strongly from a 4-2 deficit to win 5-4 and be crowned Ladies World Master for the third time in her career.
There was more success for the Irish in the Youth tournaments as Keane Barry and Katie Sheldon won the Boys and Girls youth titles respectively.
The BDO World Championship Qualifiers also took place on Monday and confirmed the full line-up for the BDO World Championships at the Indigo - O2.
